Do you remember our 10th anniversary? We celebrated them on this magnificent old boat with an evocative name?
It is by watching our video relating this anniversary, that the company BEI wanted to entrust us with this realization.
So, the first weekend of June, we were with the BEI team in Marseille for a trip on the famous sailboat Le Don du Vent and in our beautiful city of Marseille, on the side of the Corniche and especially the Vallon des Auffes.
Laurent, BEI’s boss, wanted us to immortalize the sea trip that started in the Old Port, on the pontoon opposite the central town hall. The 25 passengers were right on time for the boarding, by a rather uncertain and foggy weather. Moreover, Notre-Dame de la Garde was at that time bathed in clouds and therefore invisible!
The route of the day is decided only on the D-day because at sea, everything depends on the weather, and this Sunday, it is not favorable to sailing because of the total absence of wind, which is quite rare in Marseille!
So, instead of heading for the calanques, the captain motorized towards the Château d’If and the Frioul Islands. The anchor was dropped in a well-sheltered cove, close to the aquaculture farm. The time to picnic, to dive in a very warm sea (finally 20°c!), to play soft petanque, to dance, to chat, etc…, it was already time to go back to the city center.
With our FX3 camera, plus a small Insta360 camera and of course a drone, the Mavic 3, we followed this nice team for this memorable day in Marseille.
For the drone shooting, we had a separate boat from where we could take-off and land without having to bother the captain and the guests !
The video is being edited and will be released shortly.
