Our gear

Our drones

All of our drones are adapted to professional aerial filming and photography and are approved to operate under the new European scenarios.

Our UAVs are regularly maintained and updated. We carry out a complete overhaul of our drone fleet every two or three years according to the newest products on the market. Both the aircraft (drone) and the nacelle (gimbal), the camera, the lenses, the screens, and of course the batteries which are to be considered as consumables.

Here we present our drones and a brief summary of the new European regulations that apply in France (for an in-depth analysis, read this)

Please note that flights in populated or urban areas must be declared in advance to the prefecture, with a minimum of 10 working days’ notice. D not hesitate to contact us for further information.

DJI Mavic 4 Pro 512G° - All-Intra

comes for free with the Inspire 2 or INSPIRE 3

The Mavic 4 Pro drone is equipped with a Hasselblad M4/3 CMOS main sensor camera with a 28mm wide-angle focal length. It’s a beautiful bird with 2 other independent lenses.

The 70 and 168mm focal lengths are even better than those of its predecessor, the M3pro. They’re invaluable for inspection missions, but also for taking shots that would be impossible with a wide-angle lens! This drone is also ideal for confined spaces, indoors, in the city, or as a complement to ground-based cameras.

It can also be fitted with a VR360 Insta360 X5 camera, at no extra cost.

A major innovation: the gimbal rotates through 360°, enabling 6K vertical shots to be taken, as well as 70° low-angle shots!

Focal lengths available on Mavic 4 Pro :

  • 28mm on M4/3 sensor in 6K 24/25/50/60p
  • 70mm on 1/1.3-inch sensor in 4K at 24/25/50/60p
  • 168mm on 1/1.5-inch sensor in 4K at 24/25/50/60p

European Scenarios: STS01 - A1, A2, A3

European EASA scenarios in France

Discover the different EASA scenarios valid from 2026 in France and Europe: Specific STS-01, STS-02, Open A1, A2 (urban or populated area) & A3 in France.

It is important to note that the former French DGAC scenarios (S1-S2-S3) are no longer authorised and that drone pilots must have obtained either CATS for flights in the Specific category (STS01 & STS02) or BAPD for one of the three Open categories, namely A1/A3 and A2 for flights in populated or urban areas). Our pilots have obtained all these diplomas and qualifications!

IMPORTANT: Each scenario requires the use of a class-approved drone for that scenario (C0 to C6). We mention this class on the specifications sheet for each of our drones.

New Drone Regulation from 2026 in France & Europe

Our drone pilots hold RPCT and RPCC A2 & A1/A3 licences.

Our drones are certified in the following classes: C0, C1, C2, C5 and Unclassified.

Drone-Pictures offers its drone services in the following scenario categories: STS-01; A2; A1/A3.

Specific STS-01

For flights in the STS01 specific operational category, the drone pilot must hold a CATS licence and operate a class C5 drone, always within visual line of sight. This scenario allows flights in cities or populated areas, by day or by night, with a drone weighing less than 25 kg equipped with a parachute kit and a circuit breaker, such as our Inspire 3.
