ATMOSUD Winter 2026 Campaign – ALP’AERA Project | Drone-based air quality monitoring in the Alps

A look back at the Winter 2026 campaign in the French Alps, carried out for ATMOSUD as part of the Franco-Italian ALP’AERA project, focused on studying climate impact on air quality in alpine regions.

During this mission, our drones were used to test the MOBIL’AIR sensor in real conditions, including airborne deployment under the drone.
These tests explore new ways of measuring and analyzing air quality in hard-to-reach environments.

This campaign highlights the role of drones as powerful tools for environmental research and atmospheric monitoring.

📍 Location: Hautes-Alpes, France
📅 Period: Winter 2026
🎥 Production: Drone-Pictures
