In early February, at the request of R&G Production, which produces the program, Drone-Pictures had the pleasure of capturing aerial footage of the Royal Castle and the main iconic sites of Collioure, as well as those of the city of Narbonne, as part of the filming of the program “Flavie en France,” broadcast on France 3.
Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and emblematic of Catalan heritage, the Royal Castle of Collioure offers a unique view of the bay, the port, and the historic heart of the city. The images captured by drone reveal the architectural power of the site and its exceptional location between the sea and the mountains. We completed this day of aerial photography in this magnificent village by filming Saint-Vincent beach, Notre-Dame des Anges church, the green lighthouse, the oil mill, and Fort-Saint-Elme overlooking the bay!
We would like to warmly thank the town of Collioure and the teams at the Château Royal de Collioure for their welcome, their availability, and the trust they placed in Drone-Pictures to produce these aerial images.
Broadcast dates for the “Flavie” episodes in France (France 3)
In Collioure: March 30–April 3, 2026
In Narbonne: April 6–10, 2026

We also carried out a second drone shoot in Narbonne, highlighting several iconic sites in the city and its two thousand years of history.
The shots focused in particular on the Cathedral of Saint-Just and Saint-Pasteur, a Gothic masterpiece dominating the historic center, whose scale and architectural details can be fully appreciated when viewed from the sky. Nearby, the Archbishops’ Palace and Museum, with its different architectural layers, was filmed in its entirety, revealing the close links between religious, urban, and heritage power.
Filming continued at the Narbo Via museum, a major contemporary cultural facility dedicated to ancient Narbonne. The aerial images highlight the dialogue between modern architecture, Roman ruins, and the urban landscape.
Finally, special attention was paid to the Canal de la Robine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Passerelle des Barques, a veritable link between the two banks of the city center. The drone views here capture the dynamics of the heart of Narbonne, between water, heritage, and local life.
This shoot in Narbonne, complementing the one carried out in Collioure, illustrates the diversity of the regions featured in Flavie en France and confirms the role of the drone as a privileged tool for recounting the history, architecture, and identity of French cities through spectacular and masterful aerial images.
These drone shooting once again demonstrate the value of drones as a tool for promoting heritage and capturing images of different regions for use in demanding television productions.
📺 Tune in to France 3 in early March 2026 to see these images on the show Flavie en France.
